Artist’s Notes:
"Dreamweaver" showcases a blend of textures and tones in a dreamlike floral composition. Like much of my work, I layered paper onto the canvas, sanding, painting, and adding and subtracting to create depth and dimension.
My technique enables me to create a rich, tactile quality and mystical ambiance. The artwork features abstract floral forms and ntricate, jewel-like elements drape flowers that float in space. My intent in this piece is to highlight the beauty of organic forms so that they can be seen as sacred objects.
